It is time to cuddle up with a good book and indulge in the romance of February. Love is a powerful force and what better way to explore that than through science fiction. Sci-fi elements make a romantic story more engaging and can give characters more depth. Love defines us as a species and what better way to fully explore that than viewing it on other worlds and through other species. Seven Brides for Seven Alien Brothers Series by Honey Phillips
If you enjoyed the musical then you might enjoy this book series. Each book in the Seven Brides series features a different couple and may be read as a standalone, but the books do link together. This sweet and steamy series is intended for mature readers.
The Firebird Chronicles #1: Rules of Redemption by T.A. White
If you are looking for a slow burn romance then this book series is for you. It features a snarky heroine who is constantly underestimated, a sassy AI friend, and an arrogant jerk who just won’t stop digging into our heroine’s secrets.
Young Adult Science Fiction Romance Recommendations
The Kindred by Alechia Dow
This is a story about Joy and Duke. They are Kindred to each other and share a unique bond which enables them to hear and feel each other’s thoughts and feelings. She is a commoner and he is a noble. Crownchasers by Rebecca Coffindaffer
It is a race to find the royal seal and win the throne. Alyssa Faroshti never wanted the throne but feels compelled to compete in the race because of her dying uncle who called for the Crownchase.
